There’s nothing better than finding a convenient, high-protein breakfast option that everyone loves—until you can’t find it in stock anymore. I fell in love with a package of breakfast meatballs I picked up on a whim, but between their constant unavailability and an unfortunate bite of chicken cartilage (instant deal-breaker for me), I knew I had to try making them myself.
When I first tested this recipe, I left the container on the counter after school pickup and took the dog for a walk. By the time I came back, every single meatball had vanished—completely devoured. The kids love them for breakfast on the go, and I love that they’re packed with protein and so versatile.
Not only are these meatballs perfect for busy mornings, but I think they’d also make a fantastic Thanksgiving appetizer with a dipping sauce like my Cranberry Sauce from Celebrations. I’m already planning to experiment with ground turkey and dried cranberries to add a seasonal twist. These little bites of savory-sweet goodness might just become your new favorite breakfast—or a crowd-pleasing holiday appetizer!
