THIS WAS AMAZING! I had no ideas Capellos made pasta!!! Good thing we have two IPs, because I now foresee dueling containers of his and hers recipes for Magic Meatballs pasta (him: Banza; me: Capello’s). I haven’t had ravioli in ??? 10 years?
I don’t think their pasta will hold up to a cook in the IP unfortunately, it’s too delicate. Only dried pastas. But you could cook the meatballs and sauce and omit the broth and stir in the cooked ravioli 🥰
Yes! I email every Thursday. Be sure to check your settings here in the app and make sure that you have email delivery toggled on. Otherwise it will just alert you in the app when a new post is released. And in the meantime, you can bookmark Daniellewalker.substack.com and browse all the past recipes and videos!
Danielle, this soup was delicious. I never thought to add ravioli to a soup but YUMMM! The holiday vegetable hash made preparing this soup a breeze. I'm not sure how long Trader Joe's has this available. Do you think it would be a good idea to buy a few packages and freeze for later? I would really love to have this soup throughout the winter!
Yes I’m afraid they’ll only have it through December! I froze two batches of the soup and left the ravioli out to add later, and it worked great! If you freeze just the hash vegetables, I’d suggest cooking them first or at least blanching them. Raw veggies don’t tend to do as well going from frozen to thawed to cooked.
Danielle, I love saving the recipes from here in my paprika app so I can easily meal plan with them. But I can’t save the PDFs, only the text in the webpage. If there’s any chance of keeping text in the post itself, that would be so helpful!
Absolutely! This was a quick bonus recipe in addition to the usual weekly recipe, so I didn’t have a chance to duplicate it into the body of the post but I can edit it and add it!

Just made a note on my printed recipe! Thank you! Mushy paste = not a fan.
This is by far one of my favorite soups yet! We used GF Trader Joes Pumpkin Ravioli and holy smokes it screamed fall! This is a must make!
I’m new here. How do we get the weekly recipe? Does it come to email?

Thank you so much! Just saved to paprika! 😊
Where do you find the dairy free capellos ravioli ?
I found it at Mariano’s (Kroger) and Fresh Thyme in Chicagoland.
