Danielle! So excited for you and all of us who love and appreciate you, your honesty, your dedication, your energy! Thank you for never giving up on your vision. Thank you for this new space to be connected on all levels. I am so grateful.
ps: this is Nancy Clark as you and a handful of previous people would recognize. I just used a different name for Substack when it first came out; my middle and last name!!!!🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Your excitement is palpable and I love it! I am so grateful to be experiencing this next step in your journey with you! I have been experiencing the ups and downs over the years as I traverse my own. Watching you navigate life with autoimmune and other issues has given me more hope than I thought possible on this difficult healing journey. Thank you for sharing your story and gifts! So excited for 2024!
Thank you Jennifer. I have a few posts planned here to give updates on my autoimmune journey. I've been hesitant to share them on social media because it usually comes with a lot of judgement, and social media tends to just want food "po*n" so I've been trying to find a place to share more. I'll keep polling our community here to see if that's what they're hoping to hear more often, but I hope in sharing I can continue to help those like us feel seen and supported. :)
Thank you for your heartfelt and thorough explanation of this new venture. It makes so much sense, and I’m so sorry that trying to fit the mold of insta, etc. has stolen your joy. I’m so excited to be here and once again thank you for bringing delicious healthy FLAVORFUL meals to our tables, and sharing your heart so authentically through the years.
This is so exciting! Thank you for sharing with us and for being an inspiration to so many. Your recipes have been such a lifesaver for me. I have Hashimoto’s and this way of eating has made such a difference in my health and wellbeing. I cannot thank you enough! I look forward to being a part of this special community!
Love this so much! Your passion and excitement definitely come through and I am so excited to be here! Healthy in a Hurry helped me learn to enjoy cooking because you made cooking so simple. Thank you for that gift! Can’t wait for what this holds!
Can’t wait to see how this unfolds. I would miss so much because I seldom am on FB and instagram. I’ve always loved my emails, so very excited about this. Thank you for making the healthy eating world easier to navigate!
I can feel your excitement as you describe what’s been getting you out of bed so early lately! I’m here for all your creativity in what ever way brings you joy and satisfaction!
I’m finally joining the Substack party! I’ve gotten lost on keeping up via social media and only catch the occasional update… it was so nice to read this post and hear your progression to coming over here. This feels so much more manageable, like less of a time suck, and more like what I loved from 2014ish… so thank you. :-)
It just gets more exciting! I can’t wait to see what you’re up to next. Your stories are so inspiring. I appreciate how much effort you pour into sharing your personal experiences with us all.
I've enjoyed your books and recipes for years but have never participated in your blog with a response. I am a retired accountant who has been studying Fitness and Nutrition all my life. Was a Physical Education teacher at one time when I was fresh out of College. I married and raised my family of 2 girls went back into school and got my Masters in Accounting. Along the way I have been suffering from food allergies to grains (especially wheat and corn). Took my 60 plus years to figure out what was causing this terrible skin rash (itching, bleeding and pain) all over my body. I kept reading everything I could on nutrition and autoimmune disease and finally discovered I was allergic to grains. Once I discovered Paleo and your site I have been so much better with only occasional flare ups. Hearing your story has been inspiring and yes food can heal us.
Hello everyone here! Im Kasia from Poland. Im so lucky I got to know you Danielle. You gave me so much hope. Thank you for your great work and effort ❤️ Can't wait for the new yummy stuff 😍
I love this so much Danielle! You are so authentic and real! Social media has become such a hard place to keep up and keep in touch and have it feel personal! I can’t wait to get to know you more and be able to interact and learn so much more from you!
I'm 'late to the show' here, but just want to say how excited and grateful I am that you are embarking on this new adventure! I found you in the very early days of the blog and, even though I don't have autoimmune issues, I have all your cookbooks and just love your heart. I was so excited to read Food Saved Me and really get to hear your heart again! So I'm very happy to subscribe to this new way of communicating!
I've never been a part of a group like this and I am excited. I am mostly excited because its being led by you, Danielle! Your authenticity, vulnerability, love and passion for cooking yummy food make you feel like my friend who lives next door. I truly treasure you and all that you do to teach, share and equip those around you to cook the best kind of food for our loved ones! I am on a learning curve with Substack. But I know with time, I'll be able to navigate it. Thank you so much ... for being genuine, for being you and sharing that with us! <3
Congratulations - your excitement and joy is so contagious! My health journey started in 2018 and I am in a better place because I found you. Excited to join you in your new home!
