I promised I’d develop more recipes using the cake mixes—whether you buy them at the store or make them from scratch—and here’s a brand-new one for you!
Tahini, chocolate, and bananas might sound like an unexpected trio, but trust me—they work beautifully together. The tahini adds a warm, nutty depth that enhances the sweetness of the banana and the richness of the chocolate.
I first started baking with tahini back in 2014 when Meals Made Simple was released. I used it in place of almond flour to create a nut-free version of my beloved Real Deal Chocolate Chip Cookies. The flavor was so unique and comforting, those cookies are still one of my all-time favorites.
Grab the recipe below and let me know what you think (and how quickly your family devours it!).
