Just looking at the picture, I already know this is going to be delicious. I’ll definitely be trying it with chicken thighs, and possibly regular rice. One note on the poll for the different recipe print outs. The simple option has the make ahead notes while the designed print out doesn’t have those included. So, I like the way the designed print out looks, but I appreciate the notes section of the simple layout.

Thank you for that feedback! Unfortunately with the designed one there is no way to do a second page, but I do plan to put a hyperlink to the specific post so you can easily navigate back and find those extra tips that are hosted here!

I figured that was the reason. I definitely love the one pager. I am adding handwritten notes to mine based on the post. I got myself a recipe book for Christmas and I am loving having all my recipes organized. You inspired me with your meal plan folder.

This looks delicious! I prefer the fancier print out, but would love the make ahead and substitution tips included, and would also love the kid friendly swaps.

Sadly there is not room for all of the notes on the designed version, but I can add a hyperlink so you can easily navigate back to this post to refer to them!

I love all the options!!! I have a jar of the Trader Joe’s Red Pepper and Almond Pesto on hand so I think I will try using 1/2 of the jar on salmon for tomorrow’s dinner and use the other 1/2 to marinate some chicken thighs and put in the freezer for another meal. Since I’m cooking for two, I like having something else in my back pocket instead of wasting ingredients or trying to cut a recipe in half. Thanks, Danielle, for all the time you put into this for us! Those 9.5 iterations will be greatly appreciated when that recipe for Brookies hits our kitchens this weekend!

Yay I’m so happy you love all of the options. Every recipe I release here will have those from here on out! I started doing it for my new cookbook Make It Easy and really love how it can help everyone tailor it to their needs. I have a lot more space here than I do in a cookbook though which is extra fun!

My husband caught so many wild salmon this last fall and I’ve been searching for new recipes to make with it….this is awesome! Thanks so much for being you!

I made this today but used shrimp instead of salmon. It was the most delicious meal I have made in a long time

Definitely will be a repeat for me. Thanks so much. I'm counting the days until my new cookbook arrives.

Danielle, this was so delicious!! My husband said it was one of the best things I have ever made. It was so nice to have salmon and cauliflower with some different flavors. Thank you for your recipes!

I’m so happy to hear that!! The sauce is amazing over chicken and other fish too!

This is awesome and can’t wait to make it! I love salmon but my husband and 2 year old do not feel the same way :) I am especially grateful for all the subs and different options! Some weeks our schedule is crazy and I splurge for the store bought shortcuts (otherwise I know we’ll end up with take out) but some weeks I have time to make sauces, etc from scratch so it’s amazing to have both options!

Interesting discussion on cous cous. I can’t tolerate cous cous but normally substitute it for quinoa (which is also grain based I think but I can eat this with no issues).

Danielle Walker's avatar

Sadly I cannot do either! Quinoa is technically a seed, but it’s often digested similarly to a grain in peoples bodies and my gut doesn’t love it 😩

Sorry to get off topic here but I noticed after reading about the salmon recipe and prior to recipe details ingredients description there was a photo for a

“slow cooker suffered peppers “ where could I find that recipe 🤔

To be honest, I was afraid everyone wouldn’t love the recipe so I haven’t published it yet! I loved it so maybe I just need to do it :)

Honestly, I don't mind either format when I print a recipe; I usually care most about it being on one page (I have been known to scale down the view drastically to get to one page instead of printing multiple 😂)

This look’s outstanding and it’s printing as I type! What would be a good side in addition to this for a “larger” meal? I’m wondering if Burnt Broccoli or a salad?

The cauli couscous is actually really filling! Broccoli may be a little much cruciferous veg 😆 But a salad would be great! My maple Dijon vinaigrette would be really nice!

Oohh you had me at Maple Dijon with greens! Didn’t think about the cruciferous veggie load. 🤣 Thanks so much!

Heading to Florida for our March break (Canadian here lol) so I will be trying this recipe immediately upon our return. I am desperate for a new take on cauli rice. I ate so much of it for a while that I kinda reject it when I see it now 🤣 This could get me back on the train I bet! The designed recipe looks beautiful but I don’t mind the simple format at all for my recipe binder. Thank you!

Yes same here! It was revolutionary just like zucchini noodles for nearly a decade but I would rather just do without “rice” these days. This one though I will eat with EVERYTHING. Thanks for the feedback on the pdf!

Finally made this recipe today and all I can say it WOW that cauli rice is INCREDIBLE. 🤤 There is so much flavour packed in there!

I made up a batch of HIAH Tagine seasoning from my book, first time making that one. Really good.

Thank you for another new dinner option that will be on regular rotation!
