I was stuck on what to make for dinner tonight -- pulled some frozen ground turkey out of the freezer... didn't quite know what to make with it. I remembered the seasame ginger dressing from the vid last week and thought I'd just cook up the turkey and add the dressing (as it's similar to the amino/sesame marinade I've used in the past) and make bowls with leftover beans and greens and some rice. OMG... it was SO good... my husband and son loved the sesame ginger dressing, added more on top.
My MIL gave me some fresh herbs from her garden, so I made the green goddess as well... will be using it tomorrow with my salad (and yes, also mixed the two in a small container so now I have OPTIONS! 3 dressing/marinade/sauce/toppers. Love it!
Feeling like the flavors would go with chicken, fish, pork, as well as salads. I didn't have the crispy onions, but have some canned salmon i'll try it with tomorrow :-) Thank you!
Mmm, just made the sesame ginger dressing last night and you're right, it is so good I want to put it on everything! Trying to use up food from the freezer/ pantry (we're moving later this year) so I pulled together an improvised salad of spinach, canned salmon, some cauliflower rice and this dressing. So, so good! Thank you!
YUM!!! I made this recipe tonight and subbed chicken for the salmon! Cuz that's what I had in the house! It turned out great. I cut the chicken breasts in half length-wise to help them cook in about the same amount of time as the salmon would have . I baked them with the potatoes for about 24 min. And we LOVED the ginger sesame dressing! I even ordered the mason jar lids and used your fancy white marker to label the jar! We loved our dinner!! Thank you!!! xoxox
I can't wait to make these dressings! I have to say my family LOVES any recipe with Asian flare/flavors. Thanks for all the sub options! It really helps me use up what I have in the house already! :)
So I just made this ginger sesame dressing and tried those crispy onions from Trader Joe’s on a modified salad and oh my gosh it was so good!!! Those spicy crispy onions are amazing and super nice to have a different flavor profile because I was doing tons of vinaigrette spinach salads!! Thank you so much!
After I meal prepped the kale crunch salad with the ginger sesame dressing, for my husband to take to work during the week, he texted me to let me know that he doesn’t need any other dressing ever. 😂
I haven’t used tahini though. I’ll have to try it!
Do either one of these dressings work with a salad alongside the tri-tip/chimichurri? That has incredible flavor already!
I made the sesame ginger dressing last night and it came out the consistency on a fluffy thick pudding. What did I do wrong? I blended everything up in the blender. Maybe there’s specific directions in the video - I haven’t had time to watch. Do I need to drizzle the oils rather than blend? Anything I can do to salvage what I made?
Can Salmon be frozen after it’s cooked? My gut says not but I thought I’d ask anyhow! Congratulations, Danielle, on the 8th grade graduate (!). How does this happen?! I’m going to try the garlic sub on these. I’m also subbing sprouted almond butter- just a tidge - for Sesame tahini. Hoping it isn’t long before I can reintro.
Question... making mexican theme tonight and searching all over the web for Danielle's Sheet pan Steak Fajitas... does anyone have a link or recipe? thx
So this looks amazing. I love green goddess dressing. Have a question what’s a sub for garlic? Recently found I out I can no longer tolerate garlic. Which is a major bummer . So how do I make these dressings without it? Or is it not possible?
Chives provide a mild garlic flavor! I also looked up a sub recently for a friend on low fod maps and read that a pinch of asafoetida can mimic the flavor of garlic and is often used in Indian cuisine!
If you ever have an idea for a homemade sriracha without garlic that would be LOVELY. I haven't been able to get many pre made sauces or spices in a long time and I know it would add to the flavor.

That’s always my hope with the subs! 😊
Can’t wait to try all of these. The video is super helpful, thank you!!

It’s SUCH a good combo right?! And I love that they use olive oil. Most of the other chili crunch brands have soybean or canola oil.

Ryan says the same thing! And yes I think both will work perfectly with the tri-tip and chimichurri!

Question doing meal prep - for your Herb Ranch Dressing what Mayo do you use? - I just used the avocado Mayo and doesn't look right
What a handsome young man. They do grow up so fast. Enjoy this season.

I don’t think it reheats well, but it can be done 😅
Hmm, maybe a cold fish meal, then…😝 I eat it SO much!

Do you eat the leftover roasted salmon chilled on the salad or do you reheat? (best way to reheat?)
Ah, I see it’s chilled!

Thank you so much. I recently started low FODMAP myself.

Thank you! I can't tolerate garlic either and always end up using onions. I appreciate more ideas!
I had this same question - great sub ideas!
