Hi friends!
I hope this email finds you well and enjoying the latest recipes here. The last 2 recipes are already getting rave reviews in the comment sections, and are SO easy, you must try them this weekend.
Set it and forget it!
Sticky Teriyaki Ribs and a crunchy salad with the most incredible sesame ginger dressing. This mouthwatering dish was a hit with my family, including my husband Ryan and our kids. The meat falls off the bone perfectly, and the sweet and sticky sauce is delectable. I love this meal because it is another “set it and forget it” recipe, cooking all day on it’s own and making my kitchen smell glorious!
The sauce for this recipe is actually a modified version of a chicken wing recipe I created 8 years ago for my blog. When I stumbled upon a rack of ribs in my freezer, I knew I had to defrost them and put them to good use; and I’m happy to say it’s going to be in the constant rotation for our family!
Mother’s Day Menu
Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and I always crave a big, delicious brunch that I can enjoy with my family. When I think of a complete brunch menu, there needs to be items from the following categories: a baked grain-free treat, a seasonal salad, fruit, and eggs or protein. These are the four essential brunch food groups!
But perhaps my favorite part of Mother’s Day brunch is that I don’t do any of the cooking. It is fun, once in a while, to have meals cooked for me while I slowly sip my morning coffee. I’ve put together four different brunch menus for you to pass on to whomever will be doing the cooking on Mother’s Day. And because everyone has different levels of culinary skills, I’ve broken them up into four skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and the Go-Getter!
For the Beginner Cook:
For the Intermediate Cook:
For the Advanced Cook:
For the Go-Getter:
Lemon Lavender Bundt Cakes (Celebrations, pg. 197)
Strawberry Salmon Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing (Celebrations, pg. 114)
Zabaglione with Berries (Celebrations, p. 198)
Egg Benedict Strata (Celebrations, pg. 113)
We also chatted over in Threads about your favorite Mother’s Day dishes or, if you had your own private chef for a day (a girl can dream), what you wish could be cooked for you! Be sure to go check out what everyone said and chime in with your dream menu!
