+BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎉👀
Hi friends,
This week, I’ve got a non-alcoholic Golden Glow Nectarine Fizz mocktail recipe for you! It’s fun to still hold a beverage when you’re alcohol free, and my kids love this one too! It’s a refreshing, sun-kissed mocktail that captures the brightness of summer stone fruit with a zing of ginger and citrus. A touch of honey adds sweetness, while lemon sparkling water gives it lift and sparkle.

TOOLS
Blender
INGREDIENTS
1 ripe orange nectarine, pitted and roughly chopped
Zest of 1 lemon
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 1 lemon)
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
2 tablespoons honey (or more to taste)
½ teaspoon dried thyme
1/3 cup water
1 to 1¼ cups lemon-flavored sparkling water (like Sanzo or Spindrift)
Optional: 2 dashes orange bitters (note: contains alcohol)
Garnish: dried lemon or orange slices, or a twist of fresh citrus peel
METHOD
In a blender, combine the nectarine, lemon zest, lemon juice, ginger, thyme, honey, and water. Blend on high until completely smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
Fill 4 to 6 glasses with ice. Pour about 3 tablespoons of the nectarine syrup into each glass (or more for a stronger flavor), then top with ¼ to ⅓ cup lemon sparkling water. Stir gently to combine. Add 1–2 dashes of orange bitters if using.
Garnish each glass with a dried lemon or orange slice and serve immediately
MAKE IT AHEAD
Store nectarine syrup in the fridge for 5 days.
MAKE IT YOUR WAY
Nectarine → Try peach, apricot, or plum. Frozen works too—just thaw first.
Lemon juice → Use lime juice for a tangy twist, or orange juice for something softer.
Lemon zest → Optional, but you can sub in a pinch of dried lemon peel or a few drops of lemon extract.
Ginger → Replace with 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger or omit for a milder flavor.
Honey → Swap with maple syrup, agave nectar, or coconut nectar.
Water (for blending) → Use coconut water for added electrolytes or herbal tea like chamomile or mint.
Lemon sparkling water (Sanzo) → Any unsweetened citrus-flavored sparkling water like Spindrift, LaCroix, or Pellegrino Essenza.
Orange bitters → Optional. For an alcohol-free option, try a small splash of fresh orange juice.
Dried citrus slice → Garnish with a fresh citrus wheel, twist of zest, or even a sprig of mint or thyme for a herbal note.
