GIFT GUIDES 2025
For the Cook, The Dad, A Non-Toxic Kitchen Overhaul, For Mom, DW’s Must-Haves , and The Little Chef,
My gift guides are here! This year, just like last year, I kept them intentionally simple because, with so many creators and endless recommendations, it can quickly get overwhelming. I focused on just the lists and items you asked for on Instagram, filled with things we’ve genuinely loved giving to each other over the past couple of years. You’re going to see lots of repeat items from last year because I’m simple like that!
A few are items Ryan and I are eyeing ourselves, but most are just thoughtful suggestions to help spark your own gift ideas.
PS - a few of you asked for gifts for your in laws or parents!! We LOVE experiences. Ryan’s parents watch our kids A LOT, so we’ve given them a dinner out with just us, no grandkids. They adore the kids, but an adult dinner with their son means the world. We’ve also gifted our parents things like a fully loaded digital frame (see Mom’s list below), tickets to a Broadway show, or tickets to a concert.
When you click through my links, I earn a small commission (1-3%) at no extra cost to you, and your support means so much.
For The Kitchen
Make It Easy Cookbook: Your meal prepping and menu planning guidebook that will take all of the mental load off of you, freeing you up to be with your family and create in the kitchen!
Recipe Sticky Notes: Much cuter than your torn up paper bookmarks or fluorescent sticky notes, these recipe page flags will mark all of your favorite pages in your cookbooks, notebooks, memoirs, novels and beyond!
Standing Mat : This mat saves my back and my feet during long kitchen-prep days! It’s so incredibly comfortable to stand on.
Mini Beast: Perfect for blending up smoothies or making a small batch of my quick “High-Protein Caramelized Apple Chia Pudding,” my Green Goddess, or the kid’s smoothies.
Master Utility Knife: This knife is a kitchen workhorse for everything from slicing veggies to chopping herbs for sauces. If you keep it sharp, it’s really all you need in the kitchen besides maybe a small pairing knife.
Ceramic Non-Toxic Griddle : Pancake breakfast never is easier! Plus it’s a dream to clean.
Caraway Mini White and Gold Set: I love using this stunning mini set to heat up sauces and small batches of soups—it’s beautiful enough to go straight from stovetop to table, and the mini skillet is great for 2 eggs in the morning.
Silicone Meat Masher: This new masher (sans plastic!) is my go-to when I’m making “Spicy Egg Roll in a Bowl” and need to break up the ground pork for even cooking.
Spout Lids: Perfect for pouring all of my salad dressings, coffee creamers, and sauces more without mess, these lids let me control the pour to avoid spills. These fit on standard Ball mason jars.
Clip-on Strainer: When I’m making my “Magic Meatball Pasta,” this strainer clips right onto the pot, making it easy to drain the noodles without extra dishes.
Meal Prep Containers: I use these to portion out meals like my new “Creamy Autumn Ravioli Soup” ahead of time, making busy days so much easier.
Seasoning Blends: Whether I’m making a weeknight “Taco Bowl” or adding flair to roasted vegetables like “Burnt Broccoli,” my blends bring out amazing flavors in seconds and honestly save me on so many week nights. Hurry and grab these before we’re out of stock! We will be discontinuing them once we’re sold out.
Wonder Oven: I always said I wouldn’t have much use for an air fryer, but we use this thing at least 3 times a day. My kids warm up after-school snacks (or teenage midnight snacks), you can use it as a toaster, a dehydrator, and even roast a chicken.
For A Kitchen Overhaul
Food Processor (Cuisinart vs. Hamilton Beach): The Cuisinart handles everything from doughs to salsas with ease and is a classic that lasts a lifetime, but the budget-friendly option is surprisingly powerful too gets the job done.
Blender (Vitamix vs. Ninja): The Vitamix is my kitchen workhorse for smoothies, soups, and sauces, while the Ninja is a great entry-level tool for everyday blending that can blend through soups and batters.
Cookware Sets (Sensarte vs. Caraway): Caraway is my go-to for non-toxic cooking, but this Sensarte set gets really good reviews at a more affordable price.
Waffle Maker (Splurge vs. Budget) : Finding a non-toxic waffle iron is tough, but these both get great reviews! I have a ceramic Cuisinart that was since discontinued.
Air Fryer (Our Place vs. Large Our Place Pro): I’ve grown to adore this oven, and cannot recommend it enough. There’s a mini that’s slightly more affordable (though still pricy) and the larger one that I now have. Both make crispy, healthier meals easy. The larger doubles as a toaster, oven, dehydrator and more.
Knives (Shun Santoku Knife vs Budget Santoku): If I had to pick only 1 knife, this would be it. The Shun knives are razor-sharp and a joy to use with their Japanese style.
J Boos Board: A sturdy, high-quality board perfect for chopping and serving—it holds up beautifully to heavy use.
Silicone Kitchen Tools: I swapped all of my black kitchen tools for this set of silicone-made tools for less toxic cooking.
Non-Toxic Bakeware: Keeping it non-toxic in the oven is a priority, and this bakeware set from Caraway makes it easy while still baking evenly.
Instant Pot: This gadget makes everything from “Magic Meatball Pasta” to simple hard boiled eggs and chicken bone broth a breeze, saving time and effort. I don’t have a need for any of the super fancy ones. This model does the trick!
For The Little Chef
The Gluten-Free Kids Cooking Crew Course : My online cooking course designed just for gluten-free kiddos. Fun, confidence-building, and filled with step-by-step recipes they can truly master. The perfect gift for any young chef eager to take over the kitchen.
Kids Linen Apron : A scaled-down version of my favorite linen apron, soft, sturdy, and sized just right for little helpers who want to look and feel like the real chef in the family.
Kid’s Knife + Cookbook Bundle: The ultimate starter set - my kid-safe chef’s knife paired with the Gluten-Free Kids Cooking Crew Cookbook. It teaches real skills while keeping safety in mind, all wrapped into a gift that inspires creativity.
Onion Goggles - Silly but shockingly effective, these goggles block out the fumes that make kids (and grownups!) tear up while chopping. A fun stocking stuffer that instantly makes kitchen prep more comfortable.
KiwiCo Ice Cream Kit : A hands-on science-meets-treat activity where kids make their own ice cream while learning how temperature, salt, and movement transform ingredients. Educational, delicious, and screens nowhere in sight.
Kid’s Cooking Tools Set : A colorful, durable starter set with all the essentials - whisk, spatula, measuring tools, and more. Perfect for small hands eager to help with real recipes.
For Mom
The Grand Fanny Sling: My go-to bag for hands-free style—it’s chic and practical for any day out. Oh and it’s the best Disneyland bag too!
Cozy Mug : A pair of comfy Christmas PJs and a cute, cozy mug by the fire or near a puzzle is my type of Saturday night.
Carry-on Suitcase: A stylish and functional piece of luggage that holds everything I need for short trips or weekend getaways. I love the color and have the matching overnight bag.
Waffle Bathrobe: This robe is so soft and cozy, I never want to take it off after a long day and it makes me feel like I’m on an overnight at a posh hotel. PS this is still my favorite SNL skit ever. I bought myself my own robe this year!
Digital Family Photo Frame: I have one of these on my desk and it distracts me so often! The old family photos just stop me in my tracks. My kids have grown so much, so quickly. Thousands of photos live on my phone, never to see the light of day, unless they’re on the digital frame. Which I’m so thankful for.
House Shoes: I’ve had three pairs of these over the last few years because I wear them non-stop when I’m in the house, working in the kitchen, or doing household chores. I have plantar fasciitis and they help so much!
Rothy’s Clog: Comfortable, sustainable, and stylish - these clogs are perfect for all-day wear. I wear them with these cozy and fuzzy socks and jeans!
Waterproof/Tarnish-proof Ear Huggies: Simple, elegant, and perfect for everyday wear. I never take these out, and I don’t have to worry about the ocean or showers ruining them!
Waterproof/Tarnish-proof Bracelets : Same as above, but for my wrist!
Natural Fragrance Candles : Most candles give me a headache. These smell and look beautiful, but don’t bother me at all!
Brown Alethic Set : I wear this to Pilates or for walks and only wish I had it in 5 other colors! It’s so cute, affordable, and the waistband doesn’t fall down in plank pikes.
Coin Necklace : I’m a big layered-necklace gal, and this is one of my go-tos.
Dime Perfume: A non-toxic, fragrance-free perfume that smells amazing without toxins.
Everyday Earrings: I designed these earrings 5 years ago, and still wear these Luna Hoop Earrings all the time. They go with everything and add a little sparkle.
Deodorant - that works : I use the cedar eucalyptus scent, and love it. It works so well!
My Wishlist (things I’ve had my eye on!)
Tea Kettle (in my go-to color of taupe. I’m so boring).
For The Dad
Sling Bag: Ryan wants this to go inside his backpack with some of his most-used items so he can pull it out and bring it along, rather than the whole bag, if he is headed to school pickup, baseball drop off or just out for a quick errand.
Mini Flashlight: Small but powerful, this flashlight is always in his pocket for those moments when you need light on the go. Grab a KeySmart clip and you can throw it in your pocket for easy access.
Pique Lounge Pants : For lounging around the house, but cuter than your old ragged sweatpants. He’s literally wearing them right now.
Tablet Pencil : Ryan takes endless notes, and loves to hand write them on his iPad. Ryan insists that research shows you retain info more by writing than typing (he did this throughout law school too — don’t ask me how he did though because I have no idea).
Mini Mobile Keyboard: Ry says think of this as your mobile workstation. He wants to be able to go to a coffee shop to work, or travel, and type emails and get some work done.
Athletic shorts : You will always see Ryan in some sort of ath-leisure so a short is a must. Waking up early to take the dog out, check, need to put on some bottoms to help with your kiddos in the middle of the night, check, headed to pickup some flowers for your bride, check . . . I added that last one as aspirational.
Breathable shirt : Same as the shorts; being able to have a nice t-shirt to lounge around, work or just relax in is amazing.
Short sleeved performance shirt : When your breathable shirt isn’t enough.
Power Bank: He never travels without this - magnetic, portable, and keeps his devices charged. And he has saved me from a dead battery on my phone more times than I can count! You can charge your iPhone, watch and your iPad all from this device—at the same time!
Mobile Gaming Controller: Ryan uses this to level up his mobile gaming experience when he plays with the boys. Compact and easy! The new version has Bluetooth so it can connect to a computer, iPad, Switch, Xbox, etc.
Smart Mini Portable Soldering Iron: A handy tool that Ryan keeps around for quick fixes—compact and reliable. Ryan had a hobby for a hot minute making home-made keyboards. He even built one with Easton. I’m glad that is over.
