I’m so very sorry, Danielle for you and your family’s loss! It’s so hard to lose our loved ones. I, too, loss my oldest brother recently, and suddenly, on May 4th. He was only 62. 😢
I pray that God comfort you all with his loving holy spirit, and keep you all strong, to endure this heartache, until you all can be reunited. John 5:28,29 explains God’s promise of a resurrection, that will take place in the near future, here on Earth. And Isaiah 25:8 promises that soon - death, tears, and sadness will be no more. 📖♥️💙
You have written words when there are no words to fully express such a deep loss. Thank you for your vulnerability and sharing your heart with us. I am heartbroken with you. I am so very sorry for all of you. Sending love, hug and continued prayers. <3
I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved how you said, "And beneath it, is a little girl who's been waiting for 12 years for grandmother." That made me so happy for Aila. Just think how much fun they are having! Love you!
This gave me chills and brought me to tears. Our family is also experiencing (unexpected) loss right now and this reflection cut right to the heart. Thank you for your vulnerability. I will continue to pray for you and your family. ❤️
Thanks for sharing your heart Danielle. I am so deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful mother in law💔
I too have experienced sudden loss. I was in a fog for a long time! My younger sister died at the young age of 47 in 2016 and I still think about her everyday and miss her dearly miss her. Keeping you and your entire family in my prayers 🙏🏻
I’m so very sorry for this loss. Your words are beautiful and pray you and your family will continue to look back through memories and process through words as you look back on who Barb was. I truly believe she is with Aila celebrating being together again.
I am so saddened to hear of your family's loss. I have been praying since the first email, asking the Lord to provide you comfort and strength and stand by all of you when you need it most. Your beautiful words about your daughter and mother-in-law really showed the deep love your family has for one another. That is a blessing and I hope that will continue to carry you through difficult days. Today marks 9 years since I lost my Mom at age 84. She was the light in our family and we continue to help that light shine any way we can. I can see that Barb's light will shine with all of you and your daughter Aila now has her 'grand' angel by her side in Heaven with perpetual light.
I am so sorry for your family's loss. Your words brought me to tears - what a beautiful way to remember Ryan's mom. Sending love and healing thoughts your way.
So very sorry for your family's loss and such a beautiful tribute to a wonderful person. Sending much love and comfort from a complete stranger, but one who understands a deep connection to a loving mother-in-law. Blessings to you all.
Thank you for sharing those beautiful words with us. It was so heartfelt and so beautifully wrote. My heart aches for you and your family. Sending love to you all.
I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Your way with words makes me wish that we could all be there with you providing hugs and support thru this difficult time. You know as well as anyone grief doesn't have a time table. Take your time to find peace. We are all here to support you the best way we can.
This made me cry! I have experienced a loss like this and I understand the shock and trauma that brings. Keep praying because even in the midst of not understanding and knowing, He is still there to hold you and your family during this time of grief. I’ll pray for your family during this difficult time.
My eyes are moist and I have a lump in my throat as I read this. Danielle, I’m extending love and continued prayers to you, Ryan, your kids, and father-in-law as you all navigate this. From everything you wrote about her, and Ryan’s presence in your life I see joyful strength, rooted firmly in her. I hope the coming days and weeks all of you have reminders of what she planted in all of you to continue that legacy.
I have chills thinking of the reunion for she and Aila. Many hugs.
